I am pretty excited about this.
When I first heard about Jet.com, I wanted to be involved. It was started by the same guy who started Diapers.com – which, if you don’t know, was sold to Amazon a few years back for beaucoup bucks. Diapers.com founded the warehousing system used at all Amazon Warehouses today.
The fact that are coming out with something new is very exciting, especially for consumers, because, let’s face it, Amazon has changed the way we shop.
What is Jet.com?
Jet is an e-commerce marketplace launching in early 2015. The company was founded by Marc Lore, founder of Diapers.com, Soap.com, Wag.com and other Quidsi sites.
At Jet we will make use of the latest advancements in technology to create a new shopping experience that will empower customers like never before. Jet will bring unprecedented transparency and efficiencies to the overall e-commerce market, and as a result, will transform the customer experience in a way that, until now, has not been possible.
